The University of Cincinnati football team is No. 8 in both the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll and the latest USA TODAY Sports AFCA coaches poll released Sunday.
The Bearcats (2-0) fell one spot in the AP poll and didn't budge in the coaches poll following their 42-7 win against FCS opponent Murray State on Saturday at Nippert Stadium.
Senior quarterback Desmond Ridder completed 14 of 22 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns, and junior running back Jerome Ford had 113 yards on three touchdowns on 18 carries to lead the Cincinnati offense.
