With standout forwards Gary Clark and Kyle Washington having exhausted their eligibility, the University of Cincinnati basketball program is expected to add a frontcourt player Wednesday on National Letter of Intent signing day.
LaQuill Hardnett, a 6-foot-9, 200-pound forward from Perry Hall High School in Nottingham, Maryland, was expected to sign with UC on Wednesday night. Hardnett made an oral commitment to the Bearcats in February in unique fashion, with his mother revealing a UC shirt after singing the national anthem at his game.
Hardnett is listed in some scouting reports as being 6-foot-7 and by others as 6-foot-9, but 6-foot-9 appears to be the updated number.
