Jenifer says UC won't overlook 15-seed Georgia State/ Tom Groeschen
NASHVILLE – Jacob Evans III and his University of Cincinnati basketball teammates realize they are heavy favorites to beat Georgia State in their NCAA Tournament first-round game here Friday (2 p.m., TBS). Naturally, No. 2 South Regional seed UC is saying all the right things in advance of the game against No. 15 seed GSU.
"The seeding is great and everything, but every team in this tournament is good," UC junior guard Evans said Wednesday. "We have to make sure we give every team the same respect, make sure we stay focused going into the game and make sure we come out of there with a win.
