Safety Ty Sponseller is the latest addition to the Bearcats 2016 recruiting class with his verbal commitment today. The Mason, Ohio (Mason) product is the sixth verbal commitment for the Bearcats and the first homegrown product to commit.

Sponseller is 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 195 lbs. According to Scout, Sponseller is a two-star recruit. MaxPreps has him at 55 in their state recruiting rankings and 767 nationally.
