Doris Burke talks UC Basketball Cincinnati Enquirer
In front of the largest crowd of the season Thursday at Fifth Third Arena, Cincinnati basketball put forth its most resilient effort yet.
The Bearcats overcome a double-digit deficit late to force overtime and pulled away from Memphis 92-86 in the extra minutes, flipping the script on what looked to be a second consecutive loss. Memphis (17-7, 6-5) led by 10 points with six minutes to play and by seven points with four to go.
But the UC (16-8, 9-3) senior duo of Trevon Scott and Jarron Cumberland didn't let them falter.
