Following his sophomore campaign, Utah Valley center Aziz Bandaogo entered the transfer portal and eventually announced his commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats this week!
Bandaogo became one of the most sought-after transfer prospects due to his elite athleticism and shot-blocking ability that helped him take home WAC Defensive Player of the Year.
The veteran center started his career at Akron before breaking out with Utah Valley last season, averaging a career-high 11.7 points and 10.4 rebounds in 29.4 minutes per game.
Wes Miller’s coaching staff saw just how effective Bandaogo can be as the Utah Valley big man racked up 15 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in a win over Cincinnati last season.
