Cincinnati basketball coach John Brannen almost revealed details about last weekend's closed-doors scrimmage against Dayton.
But not really.
"It was great because I had dinner with my family Saturday night," Brannen said. "I felt really good about it.
"You're not getting anything out of me."
Brannen's Bearcats faced off against his former mentor in Anthony Grant and the Flyers. The familiarity (Brannen served on staff under Grant at VCU and Alabama) was noticeable to UC graduate transfer senior point guard Chris McNeal.
