HOUSTON – Cincinnati basketball's postseason future remains in flux, and the AAC regular-season crown is slipping away.
The Bearcats fell 68-55 Sunday at No. 25 Houston, swallowed up by the Cougars physicality on the offensive boards and a swarming defense.
Houston (22-7, 12-4) advanced into a tie with Tulsa for the AAC lead.
Cincinnati (18-10, 11-5) has two games left, at USF and against Temple, to catch up and solidify an NCAA Tournament resume that has experts split on the Bearcats' probable destination.
