Cincinnati basketball earns season's first true road victory at UCF

ORLANDO – Finally, Cincinnati basketball broke through for a win on an opponent's home court.

The Bearcats knocked off UCF 68-54 Saturday, overcoming a slow start and the lowest scoring mark of star Jarron Cumberland's season.

Instead, senior forward Trevon Scott and junior center Chris Vogt had a stellar second half performances and junior guard Keith Williams was strong at the start to ensure UC's first true road victory of coach John Brannen's tenure.

Williams scored 10 of his 16 total points in the opening half and grabbed six rebounds, Scott finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists and Vogt added 13 points, his 15th consecutive game scoring in double figures.
