Cincinnati basketball collapsed again in the final minute on the frontend of an important three-game stretch, losing to Colgate 67-66 Saturday at Fifth Third Arena.
Raiders' sophomore guard Tucker Richardson made a free throw with 1.6 seconds remaining to secure the win after the Bearcats led by five with 1:08 to play.
"I know I've never experienced anything like that before," said Bearcats' coach John Brannen.
Following UC senior forward Trevon Scott's missed a free throw, Raiders' guard Will Rayman tied the game at 66 with a put-back layup after rebounding his own miss.
