According to a recent report from CBS Sports Insider Jon Rothstein, the Cincinnati Bearcats are finalizing an agreement to play the Dayton Flyers at Heritage Bank Center next season!
Dating back to the first meeting more than a century ago, Cincinnati has played Dayton the second-most of any opponent including a 60-31 all-time record against the Flyers.
Even though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it appears the programs will eventually come to terms on an agreement and schedule a game at Heritage Bank Center in the fall.
The most recent matchup between the in-state rivals took place in 2010 as the Bearcats secured a 68-34 win over Dayton behind junior guard Dion Dixon’s game-high 20 points.
