The Cincinnati Bearcats got off to yet another slow start in an important conference game and it cost them yet again. If you recall, the Bearcats visited a struggling Memphis team a month ago and were favored by three and a half points to win. Instead they committed nine turnovers and shot just 28% from inside the arc to fall behind 39-24 at halftime. UC had simply dug themselves a hole too deep to climb out of, as they ultimately fell 63-59 despite a furious comeback in the second half.
That same story played out last night.
