Middletown High School's Cameron Junior, a Class of 2021 linebacker, announced via Twitter on Friday afternoon his commitment to play for the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Junior, listed at 6-foot, 210 pounds, also received offers from Akron, Army, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Fordham, Georgia State, Kent State, Miami University, Pittsburgh, Toledo and West Virginia, per 247sports.com.
Junior was a second-team All-Ohio selection in 2019.
Cameron's father, E.J. Junior, was an NFL linebacker and two-time Pro Bowler (as a Cardinal) for 13 seasons, from 1981 to 1993. He is a Middletown assistant coach and former Alabama star who recently was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.
