Bob Huggins and former Ohio State basketball coach Eldon Miller were among more than a dozen speakers and hundreds of friends and family gathered at Fifth Third Arena Friday for a Chuck Machock memorial.
Machock, the former UC player, assistant and broadcaster, teammate to Oscar Robertson and mentor to Huggins, died last month at 82. The event Friday was expected to run 90 minutes. Instead, it lasted nearly three hours.
"I could tell you a hundred thousand stories about Chuck," Huggins said.
