UC Bearcats senior forward Gary Clark and Xavier senior guard Trevon Bluiett are two of 30 players named Wednesday morning to the most recent 2018 Naismith Men's College Player of the Year award watch list.
The 10 semifinalists will be announced Feb. 28.
Clark is one of just two players from the AAC on the list, along with Wichita State's Landry Shamet.
Bluiett is joined on the list from the Big East by Villanova's Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson, Seton Hall's Angel Delgado and Creighton's Marcus Foster.
The list also includes Ohio State's Keita Bates-Diop, Kentucky's Kevin Knox and Purdue's Vince Edwards, a former Middletown High School standout.
