The Cincinnati Bearcats put themselves in position to win another American Athletic Conference championship Saturday by defeating Memphis in front of 12,392 fans 71-69. Coupled with Houston's earlier loss to Central Florida 69-64, the Bearcats are now tied with the Cougars at 14-2 in league play.
The tough thing is UC has UCF in Orlando Thursday, then Houston back at Fifth Third Arena Sunday, March 10 for Senior Day. If they pull those off they will have earned it in every way.
