The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team fell to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the AAC yesterday afternoon.
UC took a tough loss against the 20th ranked South Florida Bulls at Fifth Third Arena, 73-61.
After falling behind by 13 in the first quarter (26-13), Cincinnati battled their way back, trailing by just 2 heading into the final period.
In the fourth quarter, a USF attack led by Syndi Harvey pushed past the Bearcats and took control of the game. Harvey nailed 5 three-pointers for the Bulls and posted 21 points.
Once again, Cincinnati has proven largely reliant on senior forward IImar’i Thomas for offense spark.
