Fouls are a necessary part of basketball. They are not a fun or exciting part but they help make sure its not just anarchy out there. Well fouls were a big part of Cincinnati’s game on Saturday, as the No. 9 Bearcats ground out a 62-48 win over the Memphis Tigers at FedExForum.
The Bearcats (19-2, 8-0 American Athletic Conference) were called for 27 (!) fouls in the game. Whistles were just popping off all over the place. Jacob Evans fouled out in the second half and four other players were called for four infractions.
