Baseball returns with June at Midland Complex Cincinnati Enquirer
AMELIA - The sound of lumber on cowhide and slapping leather graced the green fields of the Midland Complex again Monday as organized baseball returned to the organization that has sent many players to the pros.
Minus the goal of the Connie Mack World Series, which was canceled due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the Midland Redskins will play over the summer in numerous scrimmages with other college and high school baseball standouts.
Team general manager Jeremiah Larbes put the word out for players that lost summer teams and plans to come up with a schedule of games after a two-week workout period.
