American Athletic Conference moves forward with fall football season plans, per report

The American Athletic Conference is moving forward with its plan to hold a fall football season in 2020 after athletic directors met Monday night to discuss potential scenarios, according to a report via Twitter from SI's Ross Dellenger.

Big Ten presidents have moved to the verge of not playing college football this fall because of COVID-19 concerns, per USA TODAY. Coaches and players at Ohio State and elsewhere have indicated that they want to play.

AAC commissioner Mike Aresco told The Dallas Morning News on Sunday that the Cincinnati Bearcats' conference "would like to be in that conversation" with the Power-5 conferences.
