Some days are better than others. Sunday March 4, 2018 was one of the better ones for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Just about everything that could go right did just that and anyone with even a fondness for UC was likely smiling from sun up to sun down.
The biggest success of the day came in the early afternoon when the men’s basketball team vanquished No. 11 Wichita State to claim the outright American Athletic Conference title. It is the first league championship for UC under Mick Cronin and was also the most impressive win of the season for the Bearcats.
