All-AAC freshman Tari Eason becomes fifth Cincinnati player to enter transfer portal

The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team is going to need its own hall in the transfer portal.

Freshman forward Tari Eason on Tuesday became the fifth and most notable Cincinnati player to enter the portal in a two-day span.

Sources confirmed to The Enquirer that Eason, who earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman team this season, is joining teammates Mamoudou Diarra, Mike Saunders Jr., Zach Harvey and Gabe Madsen in their desire to transfer away from UC coach John Brannen and the Bearcats program.

Brannen, who is 32-21 in two seasons at Cincinnati, did not return requests for comment from The Enquirer.
