FORT WORTH, Texas – The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team's season isn't over yet.
David DeJulius scored a team-high 22 points and the eighth-seeded Bearcats closed on an 12-0 run over the final 3:27 to put away ninth-seeded East Carolina 74-63 in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
Cincinnati (18-14) advances to face top-seeded Houston (26-5) at 1 p.m. Friday on ESPN2.
