After trading blows with UofL in a 4th quarter that featured five lead changes, Houston was able to come away with an impressive win on the road at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium – maybe the most impressive win of the week in the AAC. This firmly cements them as a contender in the West division, and they could very well start the year 8-0 before getting into the meat of the league schedule. Greg Ward Jr. had a strong game both rushing (98 yards) and passing (236 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT), and is evolving into a pretty formidable QB.
