NEW ORLEANS – For the second straight week, the University of Cincinnati football team got all it could handle on the road.
After holding just a 14-12 lead at halftime Saturday against one-win Tulane, Desmond Ridder and the No. 2-ranked (Associated Press/Coaches) Bearcats scored 17 unanswered points in the second half to secure a 31-12 win over the Green Wave at Yulman Stadium.
"Well, a win is a win," UC coach Luke Fickell said. "Obviously, the first half was difficult on us. They did a really good job of keeping the ball from our offense, methodically moving the ball, getting first downs and giving us a lot of different things that we hadn't seen.
