Speaking of guys lighting it up this Summer, four star Cincinnati Bearcats verbal commitment Jarron Cumberland is doing his own fire setting on the court.
As a junior at Wilmington High School the shooting guard averaged 22.6 points per game. While Cumberland was the Hurricane’s best offensive weapon, he wasn’t simply taking every possession and bull rushing the hoop. He isn’t a volume shooter, in essence, but a pure scorer. Cumberland shot 53% from the field and 38% from beyond the arc, both very respectable for a guard.
But there’s always the question of competition level when it comes to high school players.
