Yolmer Sanchez featured in one of the weirdest at-bats in baseball history and then had some fun in the rain

The White Sox endured a long rain delay (2 hours, 55 minutes) and only got to play for five more minutes before rain came down hard again, forcing another delay and eventually a suspension of play.

Despite the frustrating, start and stop nature of the delay, Yolmer Sanchez still provided some entertainment.

Sanchez was stuck in the middle of the first delay, with his plate appearance in the fifth inning getting interrupted with a 2-1 count. Sanchez, a switch hitter, had a 2-1 count against starting pitcher Homer Bailey when the first delay hit. Sanchez batted left-handed against the right-handed Bailey.
