Sciambi — the new TV voice of the Chicago Cubs — followed their 4-3 matinee victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Wrigley Field on Marquee Sports Network with a remote call of the Chicago White Sox’s 7-4 road loss to the Los Angeles Angels on “Sunday Night Baseball” for ESPN Radio.
New Sox flagship station WMVP-AM 1000 naturally aired its own tandem of Len Kasper and Darrin Jackson — also calling the game remotely because of ongoing pandemic precautions — rather the national broadcast with Sciambi and Chris Singleton, which was blacked out in the market.
