An elevator took Willie Harris back in time Friday.
The former White Sox utility man said a lady followed him onto a hotel elevator before he made his way to U.S. Cellular Field to see some old friends at the 10-year reunion of the 2005 World Series champions.
"I'm like, 'OK, ma'am, what floor are you going to?' I want to press the number for her," Harris said. "She goes, 'No, Willie, I'm following you.'"
Harris was taken aback at first, but when the woman explained she was a longtime Sox fan and season-ticket holder, and that she wanted some baseballs signed, Harris obliged.
