With the White Sox taking batting practice a few yards away, Kenny Williams sat in the dugout and expressed confidence in the group that has been in a free fall for nearly a month.
“There are different ways that you can get yourself into this kind of situation,” Williams, the Sox’s Executive Vice President, told the Tribune on Tuesday. “This is a good group of guys. The things that we said about our players when we were 23-10 we can say the same things about them today. The difference is we’ve had a tough stretch of wins and losses and our record has been down.
