White Sox's Danny Farquhar posts video of himself throwing during recovery from brain hemorrhage

White Sox reliever Danny Farquhar continues his recovery from a life-threatening brain hemorrhage, and he’s sharing his strides on social media.

On Monday, Farquhar posted a video of himself on Instagram showing him throwing a ball against a wall and catching it as it bounced back to him. He wore a Sox helmet during the training, which he indicated was at Victory Athletics in Southern California.

“Getting back at it!” he wrote. “No better place than at @victory_strong with my man Garrett. #ReadyForTheComeback #VictoryStrong #WhiteSox #TeamNewBalance.”

Farquhar threw out the first pitch at the Sox game June 1, six weeks after he collapsed in the Sox dugout after pitching in a game.
