White Sox Unable to Avoid 100 Loss Season After Sweep Against Twins

The White Sox ended their 2018 season with a five-game losing streak and were swept in four games by the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. In a 5-4 loss to the Twins, the Sox lost their 100th game to finish with a 62-100 record.

With the loss, the Sox ended a season with 100 losses for the first time in since 1970. The Sox finished the 1970 season with a 56-106 record. The 2018 season has been tough to watch for many fans as they experienced growing pains throughout this current rebuild for the Sox.

Losing seasons are expected when a team is working on rebuilding and the Sox inability to avoid 100 losses shouldn’t be looked at with disdain.
