White Sox trade Joakim Soria to Brewers for a pair of prospects

For the second straight season, the White Sox found a trade-deadline partner in the Milwaukee Brewers.

The White Sox traded closer Joakim Soria to the Brewers in exchange for a pair of pitching prospects: Kodi Medeiros and Wilber Perez.

Acquired in a three-team trade over the winter in what appeared to be a repeat of last summer's strategy of dealing away bullpen pieces, Soria was fantastic for the past two and a half months as the White Sox closer, with a 0.74 ERA since May 21. He finished his brief stint with the South Siders with 16 saves.
