CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox will honor baseball great Harold Baines and his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Harold Baines Day, presented by Xfinity, on Sunday, August 11 vs. Oakland.
Fans will celebrate the six-time All-Star during a special pregame ceremony. The first 20,000 fans to enter the ballpark will take home a Harold Baines Hall of Fame Replica Plaque giveaway, presented by Xfinity.
Baines will be the 15th person (with the White Sox serving as the player’s “primary team,” according to the Baseball Hall of Fame) in White Sox history to be elected into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 21.
