White Sox outfielder Daniel Palka went into Tuesday’s game with a hitless streak of 29 at-bats since opening day, and was 0-for-31 overall since last season.
The longest hitless streak for a Sox position player since expansion (1961) is 41 consecutive at-bats by Robin Ventura in 1990.

But manager Rick Renteria said he liked Palka’s approach at the plate in Monday’s win, including a pair of walks.
“Those are little things,” Renteria said.
