The Chicago White Sox were able to put their loss on Sunday behind them with a 12-2 rout over the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night. Manny Banuelos made his first start for the White Sox and pitched well.
However, the story of the game was backup catcher James McCann. The veteran catcher who signed a one-year deal as a free agent this past offseason had one of his better games in MLB. McCann went 3-for-5 with four RBIs in the Sox win over the Orioles to begin a three-game series that will conclude the current road trip.
