The White Sox had strong nine-game home stand.Carlos Rodon allowed one run and Justin Morneau had two RBIs in a 4-1 win on Sunday. The pale hose took three of four from the Mariners and finished the homestand at 6-3.
Once again, Rodon was marvelous in six innings of work. A solo home run from Robinson Cano was the only blemish against the lefty, who had five strikeouts. He is 5-8 with a 3.91 ERA and 3-0 in the month of August while allowing only four runs.
Morneau’s two run single put the pale hose ahead in the fourth.
