Thursday could be a short work day for the White Sox.
First of all, it’s photo day. Players are posing for pictures, recording promotional spots and hamming it up for in-house videos.
Second, the weather is crummy. It’s expected to rain on and off all day, as the system that dumped snow on Las Vegas Wednesday night works its way east.
Third, the Sox will get to work Saturday for the first and second of 33 spring training games. They open with a home game against the Dodgers and a split-squad visit to the A’s in Phoenix.
