There wasn't much for the Sox to shout about in a three-game series filled with missed opportunities against the American League-leading Royals.
With a 5-4 loss Sunday, the Sox dropped to 0-6 in Kansas City this season. The Royals also swept the season-opening, three-game series in April.
Jose Quintana allowed four earned runs on eight hits with two walks and four strikeouts over 62/3 innings.
