The White Sox found a way to fill their ballpark Saturday night without having to spend tens of millions to actually put a winning team on the field.
Just come up with a cool promotion, market it from spring training on, open the gates of Sox Park, sit back, relax and strap it down.
The Hawk Harrelson alarm clock giveaway drew a crowd of 29,111 on Saturday, a nice uptick from their average of 20,156, third worst in baseball.
