The Manny Machado sweepstakes have ended, but the Bryce Harper saga is still trucking along, vague updates and all.
The White Sox aren’t considered frontrunners in the race for Bryce Harper at this point, however, they’re not entirely out of the race.
MLB Network’s Jon Heyman tweeted a pair of Harper updates, one that was all about the White Sox. It wasn’t exactly encouraging news if you’re a White Sox fan, but it is news (sort of).
While White Sox see asking price for Harper as beyond their comfort level, they remain in touch, in case.
