Since suffering a brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm during a game last month, White Sox reliever Danny Farquhar has received an outpouring of kindness and attention from fans wishing him a fast recovery.
Thursday evening, Farquhar started to return the love.
Standing alongside his wife Lexie, Farquhar posted a message to his Instagram account to acknowledge the support he’s been receiving since he collapsed in the White Sox dugout on April 21.
"Overwhelmed with the love and support that was shown to me and my family these past few weeks," he wrote.
