The White Sox reinstated right-handed reliever Michael Ynoa from the 10-day disabled list before Thursday’s series finale against the Orioles at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Ynoa, who owns a 4.35 ERA this season, had been out since June 3 with a right hip flexor strain, but he said the recovery went quicker than expected.
“I thought it would take a little longer, but with the (team’s) help, it was faster than what was expected,” Ynoa said through a team interpreter. “I’ve thrown in the bullpen three times, and I feel good. No pain, no issues.
