After last night's game, the White Sox optioned Tyler Danish to Charlotte. Today, they’ve replaced him by recalling Michael Ynoa from Charlotte.
Michael Ynoa was previously recalled by the White Sox on April 10 and sent back down after the game on April 11 without appearing. The Sox received Ynoa from the A's as part of the Jeff Samardzija trade. Ynoa had been a top 100 prospect with Baseball Prospectus in 2009 and 2010 before even throwing a pitch in a professional game.
In 23u2154 innings at Charlotte this season, Ynoa’s walked 16, struck out 20, and given up two homers which was good for a 4.
