I have to admit as an old-timer, I agree with a lot of what Mark Grace said (“Baseball is becoming boring”). With all the analytics, Terry Bevington or even Robin Ventura could be a winning manager given the right players. Launch angle and velocity has added to the length of the game. I don't have the numbers, but I'd be willing to wager that there are 10 to 15 percent more pitches in a game than 10 years ago. I have no problem with defensive shifting, but keep the infielders in the infield.
