White Sox Prospects in the Caribbean Winter Leagues

In the second week of the Caribbean Winter Leagues, Eloy Jiménez, baseball’s fourth-best prospect according to MLBPipeline.com, continued with his strong production in the Dominican Republic, where he is playing with Gigantes del Cibao.

Jiménez went 4–15 (.267) with a double (4), home run (3) and five runs batted in (13) over four games.

The outfielder, who was the Player of the Week from 10/14–22, ranks first in home runs (3), runs batted in (13), slugging percentage (.711) and OPS (1.107); second in doubles (4) and third in batting average (.378) and hits (17).

Willy García also had a strong week in the Dominican Winter League, where he is playing with Leones del Escogido.
