White Sox prospect Jake Burger on hitting for the cycle: 'Unbelievable'

White Sox prospect Jake Burger was just 43 games into his professional career when he accomplished a feat he said was "unbelievable."

The No. 11 overall draft pick this summer, Burger hit for the cycle Thursday in a game against Greensboro.

The Class-A Kannapolis third baseman singled in the second, homered in the third, tripled in the fifth, walked in the seventh and finally completed the cycle with a ninth-inning double. Because the game went to extra innings, he got on base a sixth time with an 11th-inning single before 2017 second-round pick Gavin Sheets hit a walk-off single to win it 6-5.
