After hitting a home run and triple in his first Cactus League start Sunday, one day after he homered in his return from knee tendinitis, White Sox right fielder Eloy Jimenez was asked if he was at all surprised.
“No, not really,” he said. “I believe in myself and I know that I can do this. It doesn’t matter if I stay out two weeks or six months.
“When I’m playing, I know I can do this. I have that confidence in myself.”
One of the most anticipated things at Camelback Ranch this spring was the expected pairing of Jimenez and Luis Robert in the same outfield.
