White Sox Power Outage Holding Team Back From Contention

The White Sox have had issues over the past few seasons in regards to hitting home runs. Although the team plays in one of the more hitter friendly ballparks in the league, they have experienced a power outage in regards to home runs.

Since 2012, when they hit 211 home runs, the team hasn’t come close to hitting 160 home runs in a season. Even with the arrival of Jose Abreu in 2014, and Todd Frazier this season, the pale hose don’t have many other home run threats on the team.
