The White Sox home opener has been postponed from Thursday to Friday because of rain in the Thursday forecast, the team announced Wednesday.
The game against the Mariners at Guaranteed Rate Field has been rescheduled for 1:10 p.m. Friday.
The team said all tickets, mobile or printed, for Thursday’s game are good for admission to Friday’s game. The same goes for prepaid parking passes, Stadium Club passes and tickets for the patio.
Rain is expected most of the day Thursday, while Friday’s forecast calls for dry weather and temperatures in the 50s.
